“I love the name Scandal because it gave me something a little provocative to work with. But I didn’t want to make something crude… I wanted Scandal to feel very elegant. Nothing says “this is the scent of a wealthy woman” better than a White Floral accord. They present as clean and expensive. And yet, the more time you spend with them, the more you see beyond the refinement. In the same way they unfurl to soak up the sunshine and release their scent into the air, they subconsciously charm the senses. Without even realising, you have been seduced! And so, with Scandal, I chose to dramatise that innate duality with a flutter of petals swept upon a breeze of Citrus and Orris, with sexy Sandalwood and Musk hiding in the base. Though you get the sense of fresh linen blowing in the breeze, behind the sheets, silk is sliding off sun-kissed skin.” - ROJA DOVE.
