The dominance of Woods and Spices beneath a lashing of Labdanum and Cistus makes the intentions of the wearer clear. But as the honeyed nuance of the Cistus melt into the creamy tones of Vanilla and Tonka Bean, this perfume’s approach is given an inherent smoothness. The entire purpose of No.1 is to get to the good part but to do it with charm and finesse - think James Bond in a bottle.
